What are the origins of the White German Shepherd Husky Mix?

Unlike many breeds that can be traced back hundreds of years, this breed is highly unlikely to have existed before the fusion of a German Shepherd and Husky in the 1960s. Before then these two breeds were kept separate from each other for fear that their offspring would end up sterile – but when they finally did come together through breeding, they created an entirely new dog breed as a “hybrid.” In this case, the resulting offspring was healthy and able to reproduce.

The mix of these two breeds was initially seen as very unconventional, so they were not officially recognized by any Kennel Club worldwide until 2000.

However, the United Kennel Club accepted them for registration in 1995. Since then, they have gained large amounts of attention due to their unusually striking appearance. In fact, one such dog happened to be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs as their mascot!

Their athletic talents make them perfect as working dogs or as companions – but keep in mind that your home should be prepared accordingly if you are looking at getting yourself a White German Shepherd Husky Mix!

What does a White German Shepherd Husky look like?

For those who are curious as to what a White German Shepherd Husky Mix looks like, wonder no more. Since they are still considered rare and rather new, not much is known about them just yet – with the only information available coming from those who have owned such dogs themselves or those with experience in breeding such canines.

White German Shepherds, as with any standard breed of their type, will usually stand at around 24-26 inches tall and weigh anywhere from 50-90 lbs. They typically sport erect ears that have pointy tips along with bushy tails which are held high when they are happy or excited.

Their coats are thick and vary in color based on their parents – but often times you will find them sporting white fur over large portions of their body.

Husky Mixes tend to grow anywhere from 20-24 inches tall and weight around 40-80 lbs. They also sport erect ears along with bushy tails that typically hold high when they are happy or excited, however their coats are usually more wolf like than German Shepherd like – often growing in very thin but dense fur which is only able to be kept warm via the help of their human owners during cold winter months.

White German Shepherds, just as with any other breed within this category, will shed all year round (but some care should be taken while shedding seasons) while Husky Mixes will only shed once a year (usually during spring or fall).

White German Shepherd Husky Mixes make for great household pets provided that they are thoroughly trained and socialized at a young age, along with having access to the outdoors where they can run free.

This type of dog is also very well suited towards owners who live in apartment buildings as long as they are given plenty of love, exercise, and attention (however walking both these dogs on leashes should be required if you want to keep them safe).

White German Shepherds will communicate to their human companions that they desire more affection by shaking or tapping their tails against your leg while constantly stretching out their necks for a good scratch behind the ears.

White German Shepherd Husky Mixes have been known to fill this role quite successfully among other breeds within this category – but it usually varies from dog to dog.

If you are interested in adopting a White German Shepherd Husky Mix, it is highly recommended that you do your research on the specific dog breed of choice. This means finding a reputable breeder and asking them about their breeding history, pups’ temperament, and how they were raised/socialized with other dogs and humans.
